Westkarpaten - Where we are

Approximately 135 km from Gyula (good country road), in the interior of Romania, a few kilometers beyond the Vartop-Pass, down the valley in the direction of the east, in the holiday area "Sources of the River Aries",

we are located just outside the high-altitude climatic health resort Arieseni (830 m), close to the highest peak in the West Carpathian Mountains (Cucurbata Mare, 1849 m) and bordering on the Apuseni National Park, on the banks of the River Aries, on the main road DN 75, which winds along the river down to the east into the beautiful valley, where it has created e.g. some magnificent ravines.
